Educational Professionals
Our new Rising Educators Pathway is designed to empower early-career educators through comprehensive professional development experiences. This pathway includes the Rising Educators Academy, a one-day workshop focused on building confidence and capacity for success in the classroom. Participants will engage in sessions that promote the creation of an Optimal Learning Environment, essential for all learners' success.
Following the academy, early career educators can benefit from ongoing support via Rising Educators Academy Plus. This program, tailored for those holding a Tier 1/2 license and participants of the Special Education Pipeline grant, consists of three half-day training sessions complemented by personalized coaching cycles with a Resource Training & Solutions Mentor Coach. The focus remains on fostering effective classroom management and standards-based lessons.
Additionally, the Rising Educators Network Forums provide early career educators an opportunity to collaborate and problem-solve with peers. Over the school year, participants can attend four one-hour forums, each featuring targeted learning on timely topics followed by collaborative discussion of current challenges. These forums, facilitated by Mentoring Coach Kelsey Harps, are offered twice daily to accommodate diverse schedules.
