From Buzzer to Podium: Region 7 Wraps Up a Standout Knowledge Bowl Season

Region 7 teams delivered an outstanding performance at the 2025 State Knowledge Bowl Meet, wrapping up the season with strong placements and well-deserved recognition in both the AA and AAA tiers.

In the AA division, Melrose claimed the state championship, taking 1st place with an impressive showing throughout the competition. Albany followed closely behind, securing 2nd place and cementing Region 7’s dominance in the tier. Litchfield rounded out the region's AA presence with a solid 7th place finish in a highly competitive field.

Over in the AAA division, Sartell earned a spot on the podium with a strong 3rd place finish, continuing their tradition of academic excellence. Buffalo took 6th place and was also honored with the Heritage Spirit Award, a recognition given for outstanding sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and team spirit — a fitting tribute to their dedication both on and off the buzzer.

With high placements across the board and the added distinction of a spirit award, Region 7 teams capped off the season with pride, proving once again their strength in teamwork, knowledge, and integrity.
