Five Teams Advance to State at Regional Knowledge Bowl Meet in St. Cloud

Senior High Knowledge Bowl teams from across central Minnesota gathered on March 10 at the Atwood Memorial Center on the campus of St. Cloud State University for the 2026 Regional Knowledge Bowl Tournament, hosted by Resource Training & Solutions.

The event brought together the top teams from each division (A, AA, and AAA) that advanced from last month’s Sub-Regional competition. Throughout the day, teams competed in a written round followed by multiple oral rounds covering a wide range of academic subjects.

Knowledge Bowl challenges students to demonstrate quick thinking, teamwork, and a broad base of academic knowledge as teams collaborate to answer questions in a fast-paced competitive environment.

At the conclusion of the meet, five teams qualified to advance to the Minnesota State Knowledge Bowl Tournament. State qualifiers included the first-place team from each division along with the next two highest-scoring teams overall, with no more than two teams advancing from any single division.
