Empowering Educators to Elevate Math Achievement Across Central Minnesota

At Resource Training & Solutions, our Regional Math Team serves as a critical part of Minnesota’s statewide COMPASS support system, empowering educators and school leaders to implement evidence-based practices and standards-based mathematics instruction. This team works closely with state math leaders and regional centers to lead professional learning, promoting a deep understanding of math standards, content, and pedagogy across PK-12 environments. With a focus on sustainable growth, the Math Team supports schools in building robust systems and processes that enhance educator capacity, engage families, and elevate math skills for historically underserved students in central Minnesota.

The goal of the COMPASS Math Team is to ensure each and every student has equitable access to mathematically rigorous grade-level mathematics and is empowered to develop a positive math identity so that ALL students in Minnesota have the choice and opportunity to lead rich, fulfilling lives.

Supports the COMPASS Math Team can offer now include:

Deepening understanding of math standards and learning progressions to ensure Tier 1 (Core) instruction is vertically and horizontally aligned.
Deepening understanding of evidence-based instructional practices and accelerated learning structures for mathematics.

The COMPASS Math Team aims to provide flexible supports for districts, so districts get specific and meaningful support on addressing key barriers and aligning systems.

Satisfying Minnesota competitive bidding requirements.

Vendors we provide are the result of either formal bids (identified as State Bid or SB) or negotiated contracts (identified as Preferred Vendors or PV).

‍

The contracted vendors we have known as State Bid or SB vendors are established through formal bids and purchasing from them satisfies Minnesota competitive bidding requirements - regardless of the amount of the purchase. The ability to do so is outlined in Minnesota Statutes123A.2 and 471.345.

The combination of these two statutes gives members the ability to purchase from contracted vendors while remaining in compliance with the Minnesota competitive bidding requirements.

Fill out the form - There are six parts of the form you must complete. They all have asterisks on them. The rest of the parts are optional. Notice that when you put down your school or CCOGA name a drop down list comes up of all the eligible organizations. You can use this to finish your organization name.
You will get a confirmation email shortly. Click on the verification link and then you can jump right in and start shopping!
