This FREE virtual professional development session is designed to equip teachers with strategies and tools to enhance math fact fluency among students. Math fact fluency, the ability to recall basic math facts quickly and accurately, is a foundational skill that supports higher-level mathematical learning. The session will cover the importance of fluency in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and how to ensure conceptual understanding is developed in order to deepen students' mathematical ability.
This session will also include opportunities for teachers to share experiences, discuss challenges, and collaborate on solutions. By the end of the session, participants will have a toolkit of strategies to help their students develop strong, automatic recall of math facts, leading to greater confidence and success in math.
