The Mental Health Network is for school + county mental health related positions to come together for cross collaboration, idea sharing, develop professionally, and stay current on resources that help students be successful in school, at home, and in the community. Mental health related positions include but are not limited to: social workers, counselors, psychologists, truancy, probation, and administration leading efforts in the areas of safety and social emotional learning.
Resource Training & Solutions will host six network meetings per school year. All meetings are held virtually, 9:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m.

10 Steps to Create a Trauma-Informed School - Register Now >>
This evidenced based 10 step training will ensure a trauma-informed, resilience-focused foundation is set for future growth and the betterment of the students you serve. It is important to understand that it is hard to identify the most important step, the steps overlap and are not linear. However, with EACH small implementation, the benefits are SIGNIFICANT. This course covers proactive strategies that can be used school-wide as well as how to help the students who need the most support. This training will give you some new ideas and practical strategies and tools to use with individuals, with groups, and in the classroom to make your work with children both rewarding and effective.

Anxiety Group Training - Register Now >>
The Anxiety Group Training provides a run-through of an 8 week Anxiety Group for middle school and high school students. The purpose of the group is for students to develop anxiety management skills, build peer support, as well as provide direct services for those who have identified needs in this area. This group includes skill building in the areas of emotion management, assertiveness, mindfulness, and problem solving. The lessons are designed to assist students in developing skills that will help them cope with stressors and teen life.

The Resilience Group Training provides a run-through of an 8 week Resilience Group for middle and high school students. The purpose of the group is for students to gain the experience of building emotional resilience through practical reflections, discussions, and activities.

Youth Mental Health First Aid - Register Now >>
Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adolescents ages 12-18. You’ll build skills and confidence you need to reach out and provide initial support to young people who are struggling. You’ll also learn how to help connect them to appropriate support.

Megan Perry, Regional Licensed Social Worker
Megan is a Licensed Social Worker with a solution focused mindset. Megan joined Resource in 2022 focusing her efforts on personal and professional development and training in the areas of mental health, trauma, and resilience. She has worked in education since 2014, focusing on mental wellness and resiliency with both students and adults. Megan spent eight years as a high school social worker and also has experience working in vocational, day treatment, and residential programs. Designing and facilitating professional learning experiences that seek to deepen adults’ understanding of social and emotional skills allows her to blend her love of systems-thinking with human-centered endeavors and solutions.
