Resource Training & Solutions Recognizes Exceptional Achievement and Leadership Among Local Students

Resource Training & Solutions proudly recognized 126 outstanding high school seniors at the thirty-seventh Students of Excellence awards banquet, held on Wednesday, April 24th, at St. Cloud River’s Edge Convention Center. With over 500 attendees, including area administrators, educators, and the families of the honorees, the event was a vibrant celebration of achievement.

Selected from 32 area districts, these seniors were chosen for their remarkable academic prowess, leadership qualities, and impactful contributions to their schools and communities. Their roles as exemplary role models to peers and staff, as well as their daily efforts to make a positive difference in the lives of others, were key factors in their selection. Moreover, individual districts may have established additional criteria for eligibility.

Mark Schmitz, Executive Director of Resource Training & Solutions, delivered a warm welcome address to kick off the ceremony, followed by a heartfelt congratulations from Ken Anderson, Chair of the Board of Directors for Resource Training & Solutions. The evening was enriched by the captivating performances of The String Showdown, an interactive dueling string duo. Honorees were then presented with their well-deserved awards by Brad Bergstrom, Superintendent of the Sauk Rapids-Rice School District.

Resource Training & Solutions works hand in hand with participating school districts to sponsor and orchestrate the Students of Excellence recognition event. Led by Shari Fruechte, Events and Administrative Coordinator, and supported by the committed Educational Services team at Resource Training & Solutions, this annual celebration remains a source of inspiration and community upliftment.
