Description: Structured literacy isn’t just new for teachers - it’s new to many school and district leaders as well. Not sure where to begin? This cohort is designed for school leaders who are looking for a structured literacy coach to walk beside them, ultimately assisting in creating a structured literacy implementation plan. We’ll begin by facilitating a needs assessment for your building. That plan will be the focus of seven cycles of individual coaching with the school leader. In addition to coaching, a small cohort (limit of 10) will meet monthly in a virtual environment to focus on topics such as implementation science, word recognition, language comprehension, data and assessment, and sustainability. Administrators will both grow their knowledge and understanding of structured literacy and develop an implementation plan for their building.

Fee: The cost of this cohort includes facilitation and analysis of a literacy needs assessment, monthly virtual cohort meetings, 7 cycles of individual coaching (in person & virtual), LETRS for Administrators textbook, and a two-year online subscription.
