This six session course equips administrators and school leaders with the knowledge and tools to support the implementation of LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling), the gold standard in professional development for educators. It provides a structured, step-by-step blueprint for integrating the science of reading (SOR) into instructional practices.
Grounded in research on implementation science, sustainability, school improvement, and shared leadership, the course outlines the essential systems and infrastructures needed for a successful, research-based literacy initiative. Participants gain access to a comprehensive set of tools, including an analysis of existing systems, to effectively guide literacy implementation through its various stages.
This session is partially funded by COMPASS: Collaborative Minnesota Partnerships to Advance Student Success
